About Zeliha
I’m Zeliha Stefanie Roesler, a psychologist (MSc) based in Amsterdam with several years of clinical experience. I offer therapy in English and Turkish, and I work mostly with international clients who are navigating anxiety, depression, identity questions, trauma, and major life changes. Having a multicultural background myself, I understand how complex it can be to feel at home in more than one culture.
My approach to therapy is grounded in the belief that meaningful change begins with understanding. I work primarily from a psychodynamic perspective, which means we’ll explore not only the current challenges, but also the deeper emotional patterns and past experiences that may be influencing how you feel, think, and relate to others today. I see therapy as a space where we can explore your inner world together with curiosity. In addition to psychodynamic therapy, I am trained in EMDR, which I use when working with trauma.
In therapy, I try to create a space where you can feel safe enough to be real. A place where we can slow down, explore what’s going on beneath the surface, and make sense of personal patterns.
