What is psychodynamic therapy?
Psychodynamic therapy is a form of talk therapy. It starts from the idea that how we feel, think and relate to others today is shaped by earlier experiences, and by emotional patterns we are often only partly aware of.
Rather than focusing only on symptoms, it looks at what lies beneath them. As those patterns become clearer, there is more room to respond to them differently.
